Washington Post Feature: With American Democracy Under Strain, Students Debate Its Resilience

The Washington Post published an article highlighting a Democratic Erosion Consortium course at The Johns Hopkins University! This past semester, DEC Faculty Affiliate Scott Warren, a senior fellow at the SNF Agora Institute, used his teaching to generate thoughtful and challenging conversations with first-year students from diverse backgrounds about the state of democracy in the U.S. and globally.

Our joint course on Democratic Erosion has been taught over 200 times at 90 universities in the U.S. and abroad. Faculty can access the full syllabus and teaching materials, and assign cross-university collaborative activities with other DEC faculty. Learn more about our course here.
