ESZTER MATYAS graduated from Political Science at Central European University and Eotvos Lorand University (ELTE) where she was mainly researching the field of environmental politics. She was a junior research fellow at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences Center of Excellence, Institute for Political Science, Department of Government and Public Policy. She was a Global Teaching Fellow at Arizona State University for the 2023/24 academic year, leading the courses Globalization and the Environment: Problems and Solutions and Democratic Erosion. With support from the Melikian Center’s Title VI award, she was the first Global Teaching Fellow in residence for a full academic year. Eszter founded and serves as editor of Erőmű (Power Plant) the environmental radio show at Tilos Radio Hungary.
