President Donald Trump’s ambitious plan to push the United States to reopen the country has enraged many health specialists and doctors in the country. The United States is taking a cost because of the lateness prevention from Covid 19. President Trump used the conference at the White House as a chance to express his ideas to push back the virus by implementing that sunlight, warm weather, flu medicines and cleaning products could be a way to save America. Many people disagreed with him immediately at the conference because CoronaVirus is considered dangerous and lethal to elders. President Trump urged the Governors to get back on track or else the economy would go down and might create a global recession. However, under the public’s perspective, his ideas are not supported by his own agenda “America First” because people’s lives are more important than the economy. If the economy goes down, it can bounce back, while people’s lives can not.

I agree with your article very much. Trump has been very outrageous with his solutions to COVID-19 and the economy. His sly comments such as the one of injecting people with disinfects is absurd. I agree with you when you said the economy can bounce back while people’s lives cannot but I believe it will take an immense amount of time for the economy to bounce back if a global recession was to occur. I think President Trump needs to be more mindful of what is happening and be careful of what he says. It is not a good time to have no filter when speaking. We are talking about people’s lives and well being not anything material.

The Trump administration did not manage the handling of the pandemic which led to mistrust and anger of the American people, and also put hundreds and thousands of lives at risk. Since the news broke about COVID-19, the United States confirmed its first case, and from there on, the disease was spreading rapidly. There were inadequate resources, the government did not respond to it quick enough, there was confusing communications and blatant misinformation. There were other countries that over-performed during the pandemic which points to deeper underlying and political issues. Countries such as East Asia (China, Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan) did a better job of controlling the pandemic than many countries in America and Europe. Their performance is not due to the economic resources or public health expense, considering that the poorer countries like Vietnam have done better than many rich countries. Now, with the Biden administration, plans to ensure the use of every available tool to combat COVID and save lives in the months ahead, while keeping schools safe, and protecting the economy from lockdowns and damage. The Biden administration has taken all actions to make vaccination conveniently available to all. With Biden’s requirements for all to be vaccinated, it raises questions as to what extent were states treated unequally in accessing federal resources? How were society’s most vulnerable being affected, and what sort of influence did those who stand to gain the most have over the White House? What was Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner’s role? American Oversight is investigating how mismanagement in the Trump administration’s response to the coronavirus put lives at risk, and how the White House’s attempted control of information served the president’s own political interests over the health of the public.
